SCGC Youth Ministry
The Advent Message to All the World in My Generation
Young Adults is the umbrella ministry for all Adventist youth, leading young people into an authentic, saving relationship with Jesus Christ and mobilising them for disciple-making and mission.
The AY Society — the church's traditional youth fellowship arm — has existed for over a century, anchored in the aim of taking the Advent message to all the world in this generation.
Through retreats, evangelism campaigns, community service, and global engagement, AYM raises a generation fully committed to completing God's work.
What We Do
Retreats, inVerse quarterly Bible studies, the Daily Morning Watch reading guide, and Week of Prayer resources equip young adults to grow deep in their walk with God.
Disciples in Action (DIA) programme modules — available in English and French — mobilise youth for local and global outreach, sharing the Advent message with boldness and compassion.
Wholesome lifestyle choices, strong relationships, and vocational purpose are nurtured through the Steps to Discipleship programme and Spiritual Gifts Assessment resources.
Official Dress
Members are expected to wear the appropriate uniform at all official club functions, church programmes, and investiture events.
Worn at AY meetings, Sabbath programmes, and youth-led church services.
Male
Female
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.
1 Timothy 4:12
Loving the Lord Jesus, I promise to take an active part in the youth ministry of the church, doing what I can to help others and to finish the work of the Gospel in all the world.
