In December of 2026, something happens that's never happened before. For as long as anyone can remember, each federation has held its own youth camp, separately, in its own place, in its own way. This year, for the first time, they come together as one. One Conference. One camp. And it starts, the way these things always do, with a name on a list.
This is the story of how Obeng Joel's name got there.
It was Sunday, in the evening, the 30th of August 2026, when Obeng signed up. Not for another federation camp, the way it had always been done before, but for something the Conference had never attempted. A form, a few seconds, and a small part of a much bigger story began.
Obeng comes from Nobewam Enoch SDA Church, Nobewam District, one federation among many, all sending their people to the same place for the first time: KNUST, Kumasi, from the 24th to the 31st of December 2026, under a theme chosen for the occasion:
